Requirements for Joining Friendly Health

These are the essential criteria to get started with Friendly Health:

Valid License from the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario

To join our network, you must have a valid license to practice physiotherapy in Ontario.

Professional Liability Insurance

We require all physiotherapists to have professional liability insurance, ensuring both you and your patients are protected.

Ability to Travel Locally Across the GTA

You should be able to travel within the Greater Toronto Area to provide in-home therapy services.

Optional: MINC or NPI

While not mandatory, a MINC (Medical Identification Number for Canada) or NPI (National Provider Identifier for the U.S.) is a plus.

Friendly Health operates across the Greater Toronto Area, so you have the flexibility to choose your coverage areas.

No clinic experience is required. We are looking for passionate physiotherapists who want to provide exceptional, hands-on care to patients.

The number of patients you see will depend on your schedule and availability. We allow you to take on as many or as few patients as you like.

Payments are direct, transparent, and processed after every session. You’ll always know exactly what you’re earning. We operate on a commission-sharing basis for different services:

Resident Physiotherapist: $40 - $43 per hour – 50% of the rate goes to the clinic, with the remainder going to the therapist.
Registered Physiotherapist: $48 - $55 per hour – 50% of the rate goes to the clinic, with the remainder going to the therapist.
